25th April 1817: Letter from Birmingham

Birmingham fryday Eve
25th April 1817

Honoured Sir/

I arrived here last night since which time I have been fully engaged and have been introduced to several of the Committee which I consider of very great importance the perticulars I am afraid will be to much for a letter—I shall accompany M to Sheffield tomorrow morning—I am Obliged to appear a liberal Patriot by which meens I have already Obtained much but I am afraid my money will grow far short of Obtaining what I am likely to do by following it up to the desird effect. Shall therefore wish your immediate advice by a line directed to the post office Sheffield By the next post for WJ Richards will not be suspected at present and I must assure you much Important information is to be gained
